Where will you focus your 2026 energy?

Happy New Year!!

2025 was a wild ride. It was the year that my husband and I realized that certain aspects of life no longer served us, and we made bold decisions to make changes to align with a life that felt more like ours...including the creation of Drishti Quest

All of this was once just a fever dream that someday we could own our own business and directly help people through problems we’ve solved.

Jumping out of secure, salaried jobs to make this dream a reality has been a surreal experience. I can’t wait to share more about this in future posts, because there’s a lot to talk about!

Ultimately though, and I don’t know about you, but I’m welcoming the energy and change that will come with 2026!

Why? Because here's what's remarkable about this particular moment: the universe is saying the same thing.

Every few decades, something rare happens.

Two ancient systems—the Chinese Zodiac and Numerology—align to mark the same threshold. Not just a new year, but a complete reset. The closing of one chapter and the opening of everything that comes next.

The Year of the Snake (2025) meets Universal Year 9.

The Year of the Horse (2026) meets Universal Year 1.

The Horse carries entirely different energy—action, freedom, momentum, the courage to charge toward new horizons without knowing exactly what you'll find.

And Universal Year 1? It's the very beginning of a fresh nine-year cycle. New foundations. New paths. The energy of building something real from the cleared ground the Snake left behind.

This isn't just a calendar flipping… it’s a cosmic reset.

But here's the thing…you can only move so far unless you KNOW what must be left behind with the Snake and WHY you’re moving forward with the Horse.

So before we leap too deeply into this new year, new jobs, new versions of ourselves, it’s incredibly important to first be aware of what must be shed and truly trust where we want to focus our new energy to move forward.

Otherwise, we end up running in circles, slowed down by the weight of old dysfunctions, or worse…stuck exactly where we are today.

So before you jump into 2026, do yourself a favor and reflect on these questions:

✨ What old skin am I still wearing that no longer fits?

✨ What am I finally ready to release?

✨ When I feel ready, what will I run toward, and why?

Year 9 clears the path. Year 1 builds the road. The Snake shows you what to release. The Horse carries you toward what's next.

Honor both as you step into what's next.
